Advice Please!!

i know its sort of pointless, but i have just reset it to stock settings on the mobo so no longer overclocked..(took note of settings if upgrading CPU Cooler)

now have CPU at 39 and System at 45

have been advised that i should disable CPU Smart Fan Controller and also change the setting off auto on CPS Smart Fan Mode... it gives Auto, Voltage and PWN as options.. anyone got a suggestion ;)

then again will leave it as it is, at least i have it working now, where as before nothing was working at all lol.

thanks for the advice all on this thread :)

ok sorted one problem out got it now booting..

What was the problem?

i used standard stock fan on the CPU because the one which overclockers provided in the bindle was too big for my case, *near touching the side*..

If it wasn't touching the case side i would consider using it - my CPU HS is about 3mm away from the side of my case.

If you're not happy about doing this make a post in the Customer Service forum and ask for details of a HS that is known to fit comfortably in your case (or post a dedicated thread in the Overclocking & Cooling forum).

In the interim, if you've got some quality gunk, you could apply this to the stock HS as this may reduce your temps a bit but TBH i would just wait for the new HS.
