Hi I'm thinking of getting into digital photography and I looking to get a decent digital camera I'm considering either a nikon or Sony but not sure...can anyone suggest one that is a good reliable camera but also reasonably priced... Thanks

You can't go wrong with any of the main manufacturers tbh. Go into a store & hold the cameras, see which feels most comfortable.
Are you completely new to SLR's, (maybe the Nikon D3200 will fit the bil?) what will you want to photograph, what is your budget?

I am new to SLR's but I had a old bridge camera a few years ago. I was looking at the sony NEX 7, Nikon D90 but not sure which would suit me best. I want to eventually join my local camera club and enter monthly competitions but I don't want to spend a fortune. Just something affordable that's good enough to use and that I can grow into without having to replace it as I get better. My budget is around £600 for camera and 1 lens to start with.
