Advice please

Is it any good for its price or can anyone suggest a better card for the same price. I am not after something that can play every latest game at max settings. Just something that can give a good display and give good Blu-ray playback and a bit of low end gaming as a bonus.

It is a OK card for the price...
the one with 1Gb of ram should run a little bit fast on games because it is DDR5 instead of DDR3 on 2Gb version.

What is your max budget and your pc's specs?

My max budget is £75 max

My spec is
Asus rampage 2 extreme
Intel I7 920
6GB DDR3 Ram

For that budget, I don't think you'll get anything better unless you go for second hand, or get lucky with a special offer. If you are sticking with your original idea, I'd get this instead of the MSI as it's cheaper. Wouldn't surprise me if it's quieter, too.

I must say I am impressed with this card it is playing all my games quite well

I have overclocked it as far as CCC will allow me to which is
GPU clock = 900 MHZ
Memory clock = 1250
It has not broke a sweat at these settings and I want to know if I can overclock it further and if so what programs/program would you recommend?

well done at least you got the gddr5 version, the ddr3 is very poor performing in comparison.

That overclock is about the best you'll probably get as you are limited by the voltage supply of your pcie lane.

what resolution your running at?

Well worth paying just a bit more for the GDDR 5 version. Good choice.
