Hi there planning to buy a dslr. I plan to take photo and video. So need an all rounder lens if that exists. I prefer canon. Was thinking a 650d. Is there any lens that comes with the camera at a good price. Really new to this so any advice would be helpfull. Like theres anything i must buy etc thanks

I used a 550d and i liked it. The way it felt in the hand and the UI

I would go and try some others so you don't discard practically the whole camera market. Also there is no such thing as a perfect lens. You will likely need more than one. Also it's generally a good idea to let people know what you plan to shoot, as the needs/camera requirements are different with different genres.

Why EM5?
-The best image stabilisation available = lower light shooting / smoother video with any lens attached. This is especially good if you want use fast prime lenses, yet have great image stabilisation.

-Incredibly fast contrast detect auto focus even in low light, means no need to worry about mis-calibration of camera body and lens. This is a big issue with wide aperture lenses on DSLR's especially when they don't have micro-adjust, I would never buy a DSLR without this feature. Also all focus points are fast not just the centre one.

-Small and light body, and lenses and smaller and compact

-Better image quality than 650D

-Looks pretty good.

Bigger doesn't always mean better.

If you are set on the 650D I would recommend you having a look at the 18-135 if you only had one lens for photo + video. It's a good focal range, good IQ and has a fast and quiet STM motor for video.
