Advice please

My Daughter has this Mobo http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-214-MS&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=2046

and this cooler http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-037-CM&tool=5

The Mobo CPU_FAN header is a 4pin...but the cooler's fan is a 3pin ...will this be an issue ?

Hello

A 3-pin can fit and run in a 4-pin no problem. You will miss out on the PWM control though so it may only run at full speed (depends on MB settings etc).
The fan itself is a PWM, couldn't see where it said it was only 3-pin though?

well yeah when i looked at it on the OcUK hardware page it didnt say it was either....and i assumed it would have been a 4pin, got it today ( about 30 mins ago ) and the fan is a 3pin
