Hi

I need to order a card tonight/tomorrow as I need it for Friday.

It will be used for gaming at 1080p, I got an i7 920 @ 4ghz on the cheap so it will be used with that, psu is Antec High Current Gamer M 620W.

Budget up to £450

I was looking at the MSI GeForce GTX 680 Power Edition that's on offer just now.

Any ideas please?

280X Toxic is superb too, but you need it Friday...

With that kind of budget you might as well want to increase it a bit and go for a 780 or if you aren't fond of doing that a 770/680 seems like the path you could take. Won't say anything about AMD cards due to fact that I'm currently having some problems with the one I recently bough.

I'd like a 780 but cant justify the expense, maybe I'll buy one of the 280x that's in stock

It's an amazing card.

I've got that exact model, its far better than all of the cards that had been suggested.

Have been contemplating giving up on waiting for the 290 and grabbing that card. I woke up late and they all sold out, so now i have to convince myself the wait is worth it. lol

He got a 7990 for £440 which is about the same price as 2 x 7970 and the better option also.

Looking forward to building it tomorrow lol

Yeah have fun, I built mine a couple of weeks ago, transferring all my kit from a Mid Shinobi to my 750D.

Its amazing mate, the best decision I made leaving England two years ago. The quality of life is so much better and I am much better off financially and my weekends are spent down the beach or out in the sun on the jet ski! A world apart!
