Went to Donington Park Race Track yesterday to take some pics! Was the first time "properly" learning with my D3200 after getting it last week.
Post-processing wise, I'm a Photoshop newb, the most I can do is Auto Colour/Contrast/Tone and Vibrance/Saturation!
After a bit of advice really on what lens I should consider next for these type of shots - budget around £300? And general tips for motorsport shooting.
Was thinking about a "Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR Lens" which can be had for £170 on the Rainforest, from what I've read briefly, the 55-300 is a little more sharp than the 70-300 but doesn't focus as quickly?
I've currently got the stock D3200 + 18-55mm Kit Lens, but was using an 85mm f1.8 for the majority of the shots yesterday and 70-200mm f2.8 for a few. Didn't change any white-balance
Spent about 2-5 minutes on each of the pictures below in Photoshop.

Aim with this was to sort of give it that black/white look but keep a bit of colour left on the car.. Didn't work out as well as I'd liked

Auto'd plus vibrance.. Went a bit mad with the vibrance, not happy with the amount of noise there is, but I'll improve this one probably!
The following were just auto colour/contrast/tone and cropped.

Purple around the white? Obviously that can be sorted in processing, but is there anything I can change on the DSLR to avoid it?
Any advice/comments are greatly appreciated.
