Advice Please.

Which Broadband provider would you recommend?

I used to be with 02 and was happy with them, I got 7 meg download speed
and never had a problem. Paid £9.50 a month which I thought was a bargain.

Sky took over O2 and I paid the same price. Soon after my speed flopped down
so much it was unusable. They couldn't sort it out and refused to send an Engineer so I cancelled with them.

I decided to try BT and signed up for their Unlimited 76 meg package.
To cut a long story short my router keeps on cutting out and I can only get 20 Meg speed at best.

Any advice would be appreciated

Contact BT and see what the problem is. Could be a faulty router, faulty line or any number if other issues.

Update: Had an Engineer out today. He said that the last engineer had wired it up all wrong.

Getting 76 Meg speeds now and router not cutting out. I must add that BT have great customer service. Very impressed, not so impressed with the first engineer they sent though.

+1 had a few bad exp with bt years ago, but the time on fttc never one problem, bar the re sink at 2400 most nights then its fast as till 0700
