Hi

I want to mount my old 24inch lcd using a ceiling mount.

1. Are the screw hole measurements on the back of my tv a generic size and if so which ?
Distance between each of the 4 screw holes = 8cm (outside edge to outside edge)
2. What size bolts do these screw holes take ? The diameter is about 3 or 4 mm
3. Will i be able to attach the tv to this tv ceiling bracket:

Cheers for your help folks

1. yes they will be VESA standard. when you measure things you should measure to the same point, so centre to centre or outside edge to inside edge..... if you do this i suspect you will get 75mmx75mm. if you did do this, and you got 8cm then it's a 80x80.. this isn't standard... that bracket does 75mm x 75mm, 100mm x 100mm, 100mm x 200mm, 200mm x 200mm
2. probably m3 or m4
3. probably yes since it has a vesa mount that takes everything up to 200x200

it will probably come with a pack of bolts some of which will be the size you need.. Some times they are long, and you will also get plastic spacers

Cheers @
1. The VESA on the back of my tv seems to be 75 x 75 following yr rule of measuring bolt-hole centre to centre
2. This means the mount in the link should work i think .
3. I think i'll purchase it if you have no further concerns and see how the supplied bolts work
