Hi all, posted this earlier in the graphics card section and they suggested I post here instead. They suggested that I should see what my motherboard is (Via P4M800 - socket 775) and what the clock speed is - goodness knows where I find the clock speed.
Anyway here's the post:-

Have just purchased 24" monitor for the pc which I am very pleased with. Had to connect via avg as I have no dvi connection on the graphics card. I have a dual core pentium 5.6 Ghz processor, 2gb ram and an old asus radeon 9200se card (came to me third hand - so hasn't done bad!). I've just managed to get my nebula tv card working ok (had some driver issues with the motherboard) and wondered if I would see some benefit of upgrading the card to one with a dvi connection. I don't need anything for gaming (my limit is Tetris , but I do quite a bit of photograph image work in photoshop cs.

I suppose what I'm really asking is am I going to see any major benefits by changing the card and if so what do you recommend.

Any help would be much appreciated

Best wishes

Tracey.
