I recently setup a wireless network in a rather large house. The Home Hub is located downstairs and is connected via CAT5 to a laptop. In between the ground and first floor we have a wireless repeater which seems to work fine on two desktops on the second floor, however in the same room there is a laptop which does not seem to gain any respectable signals. I discussed maybe feeding a CAT5 cable to this room but the owner was not keen on this. The only thing that is in the room is a standard telephone line so I was wondering what do you guys think the best, least costing solution may be?
