Still a little muffed having returned from a 9 month trip around the world to find my computer dying. Nevermind, it is time to upgrade anyway. I am finding it amazing that so much has changed in the time we have been gone which I guess shows how little exposure I have had to technology whilst away.
I am looking at a Conroe 2.4GHz, on some kind of motherboard (which I haven't looked into yet), a coulple of GBs of RAM, a Saphire ATI X1900XT and a couple of new hard disks.
The main question I have is whether or not my current Akasa 460W PSU (CA-003-AK) will be able to provide the power requirements. The PSU is not that old and I am trying to limit the amount I have to ditch from my current system.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received
