Advice Required on TV Tuner Upgrade

I dont think MCE supports digital text and other cool freeview stuff.

I got rid of my old Nova T due to the same problems (only used to pick up about 10 channels) I replaced it with a cheapo Winfast DTV1000 card and everything now works fine.

You can add two of them if you require dual tuners.

Never used subtitles, so wouldnt know if they work or not.

All PCI DTV cards can support HD content, but there's no easy way of viewing it currently. I think Nebula have official support for it, but then there's only the london HD freeview trial anyway.

I cannot answer your question, but regarding More4+1, it shut down a few weeks ago on DVB-T and now only continues on satellite. This is to make way for Filmfour. That's why you receive not signal on your digital TV card.

I'm also a bit confused as to how you can still receive more4+1 on freeview as, like I said above, has ceased broadcast on freeview and is only available on sky/telewest/ntl etc.

More4 +1 is still broadcasting a signal on freeview, its just that its now a transmission card with the infomation about the channel change.

So in theory, I should still receive this picture, but I don't, and have never had a signal for this channel. Some other channels also have issues, such as no picture and a text saying its a Digital Audio channel, when I know its a "proper" tv station due to my freeview box downstairs getting a TV station.

Ah yes! Good point, didn't think about that. Sorry mate :)
