I'm currently in a bit of a dilemma over my pc, should I upgrade or bite the bullet and get a 360. I can only spend about £400 tops on whatever I choose but I need a little advice as I'd prefer to stay with the PC but I'd also like to play nice looking games at decent FPS. Any advice would be welcome and below is my current spec and if at all possible I'd like to use as many current parts as possible.

AMD Athlon XP2700+ 2.2 GHz 333 MHz bus
Coolermaster HHC-L61 Silent heat pipe
Asus A7N8X mainboard
Crucial PC2700 DDR-DIMM 1024MB CL2.5 6ns 2X512mb
Powercolour 6800GS 16 pipelines AGP (brand new 2 months old)
LG DVD ROM
Sony CDRW
Western digital WD1200JB 120mb HD c/w 8mb cache
Creative Labs audigy platnum

It depends really on the games you play. If you play FPS than a PC (from what I've heard) and if others an XBox. I would go for an XBox personally or wait for someone on hear to make you a cheap spec
 
Well I'm into flight sims, FPS, strat, RPG's. Looking to play oblivion, GRAW and Armed Assualt. I can play oblivion and GRAW now but I think my CPU is holding my graphic's card back.
 
System looks ok although personally id upgrade the CPU and Motherboard. perhaps a Amd 3700+ and a DFI ultra-d UT3. Same as my set up running at 2.9 24/7.

Should see quite a performance boost.

Graphic cards a x800xt overclocked to PE speeds, maybe you could clock the card?
