20-30 years ago I LOVED collecting Citadel miniatures, specifically Warhammer 40k. I have quite a lot! Most still unpainted, and most of them are the metal types (though some of the later ones are metal with plastic arms etc.).

I've got quite a few boxed sets (Harlequins, Terminator Squad, Eldar Guardians, Death Company, Tactical Squad, Gery Company etc.) and also a LOT of loose figures and a few even with their original blister packs (though all opened).

I've kept them for years for mainly sentimental value, but now I'm under (wife) pressure to free up some space so I started looking around to see what they're worth.

As I say, many are unpainted and quite a few with their original packaging, so I think pretty desirable as these things go.

Do any of you have any recommendations for the best way and place to go about selling these figures & sets?

Quick update to this thread I started, since it appears to have come back to life a little...

I ended up selling most of my stuff mainly via the Oldhammer Miniatures: Valuation, Identification & Trading group on FB. I still have quite a few to get through, but so far it's netted me about £800! I sold my old paint sets (in boxes with still useable paints from the early nineties) for about £30 each, sold some old Codex books (some are quite valuable if in good condition), and most of my box sets went as well. Just recently shifted some Eldar aspect warriors (11 of them), two metal harlequin jetbikes, and an inquisitor in terminator armour for just over £90.
