[Advice]Sky Unlimited Fibre vs Plusnet Unlimited Fibre

speaking from my own experience, sky fibre is a total sham, it's terrible to say the least. Sky have NOW only acknowledged that they have a problem, 10 months now I've had the half speed issue and nothing has been done about it, their CS is a joke, personally can't wait until I'm out of contract and leave these oxygen thieves for good :)

As a Sky ADSL customer, I was deciding between Sky or PlusNet Fibre and this was one of the reasons I left them; Sky are reactive whereas PlusNet seem to be proactive.

Having followed the PlusNet forums, I read how much they were preparing their infrastructure to support full speed unlimited broadband and it was impressive. Conversely, over the last few months, I have heard numerous stories of Sky being overloaded and not having enough bandwidth.

Finally, Sky had the temerity to charge me £5 per month for 'not having a Sky telephone line'. This was the final straw in taking me over to the purple team. For £5 extra a month (£15 --> £20), my download speed has increased fivefold (13 Mbps --> 73 Mbps) and my upload has increased more than tenfold (0.8 Mbps --> 17 Mbps).

Sorry to here that, what makes you think another ISP will be better , Virgin, BT, Plusnet, they all have this problem, they just don't admit it.

There'll always be the odd exchange that's congested (outside of our control) but we've certainly no widespread problems affecting speeds for our fibre customers at the moment.
