advice wanted for a new computer

Hi guys am new to the forums and am wanting some advice on cooling and overclocking for a computer am going to get soon.
My old one is no beyond help and no amount of RAM or GPU upgrades can keep it ploding on.
Iv found a good value bare bones systems which i will get this month.

Its a BLACK X BLADE CASE
450W PSU,
intel quad core Q6600 9.6GHZ
320 Gb HDD
4gb of RAM 800 MHz

I will buy a NVIDIA 9800GTX 1GB card for it and a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer

Ideal i want to get a liquid cooling kit for it like the, XSPC X2O Delta V3 CPU Watercooling Kit but with a bay mounted pump/reservoir so i can overclock

Just want your opinions on it as iv self taught myself most of the things i know about PC's and by pulling them apart. So i could do with some help from people that know what they r talking about

Fair build depending on price and motherboard... Give it a whirl and see how you go...

XSPC do great watercooling setups, you'll not be dissapointed.
 
its the CPU
il have to have a look at the mobo once i get it but some reviews iv read about the case say the standard case is ok but the wires are far to short and can just about reach the HDD
will just have to see how it goes but due to available money at the moment i think water cooling will have to wait till Easter as i want my GPU and sound card first

the 512 9800gtx is your best bet if you are playing on a 22" monitor or smaller

xspc make very average water cooling parts [radiators and blocks anyway]

it would be best to get a high end air cooling solution such as a Thermalright Ultra Extreme

i dont know what an Xblade case is - but it sounds like something that wont provide brilliant airflow


if all this is coming in a prebuilt barebones - im guessing the motherboard wont be up to much - so overclocking may be a tad optimistic

The builder probably thinks that he can add all the cores together (2.4x4=9.6).

The overclockability would depend on the case, the cooler on the Q6600 and the motherboard.

The case does not look very good for a mid-high end system that you are buying as it has 2 80mm intake fans which would not be the best for an overclocked quad. The case does not look like it could fit any of the newer graphics cards in such as the 9800gtx because of the HDD cage being very close to the motherboard.

well iv looked round and the reviews all say its very good as the 80mm fans can easily change to a 120mm + the exhaust fan.
am geting the computer off ebay *can here you all screaming out now*
my m8 has got a similar one and says it done very well for him and the games he uses, (cyris World in conflict, gears of war 2 ect)
just been posting in the GPU forum and they have surgested a ATI 4850 512mb rather than the 9800 due to OC ability and general performance
on the bit about the HDD cage am very gd at case modding and if needs be it will come out to make space.
if an air cooling solution would be better what do i want to be looking at parts wise or could a hybrid of water and air cooling be used
