Advice when buying secondhand.

I am looking at buying a second hand bike its a fair sum of wedge and just concerned the likes of a carbon frame, I am fine with the majority of the mechanical bits, hubs, freewheels etc but any specific what to look for on on carbon frame-sets ?

Any chips or damage to the paint inspect very very carefully to see if it's cracked the frame in anyway if it looks like it in any way. Walk away.

issue with carbon is that cracks/damage are very hard to see(xray hard)! so as Solid said, check areas around frame for chips/touchups etc.

carbon frames CAN be repaired but obviously you'd rather not deal with that.
