Advice with these cases please

Building two gaming pc ( never done it before) I’ve not bought anything yet just researching everything first to try and make easier. Will I be able to change the speed and colour or will they just run at 100% and the colour just change randomly.

I was considering buying these two cases

Kolink Observatory MX Mesh ARGB Midi Tower Case - White​

Montech X3 Mesh Midi-Tower RGB Tempered Glass - White​

I’ve see a yt build with the Montech with the cable management it look an easier case to build in. Not so sure about the kolink tho.

Nzxt cases are really simple to build in you pay a slight premium but worth it

I did originally pick this for my shopping list. Swapping the rear fan with a rgb one.

Do I need to buy a controller or something to be able to control the colours on the items in my basket?

That case is FRGB, you cannot change the RGB mode.
