Advice

lol. The same could be said about anything from anywhere.

Besides, I find online reviews a bit naff really. You only ever hear the extremes. And mostly they are negative because something has gone wrong to that one person and I find people who complain tend to over exaggerate anyway and blow it well out of proportion like it is the end of their world or something. So instead of being a day late, they say it was 10 days late, instead of saying it took 45 seconds to get through, it took 45 minutes. Instead of saying a product was DOA, it ended up wrecking their marriage, their life and any faith they had in humanity, because it was just so critical. A desperately needed kidney I can understand being a bit miffed if things went wrong, but people act like they are about to die just because their latest gadget is taking too long to get to them... Or worse, it falls below their expectations.

i once had a problem with goods sold not properly described and complained to the seller, he basically told me to go away. So I send a letter quoting which but of the sale of goods act and the distance selling regulations had been broken and that I was gonna take him to court. hey presto, next day get my money.

you're right complaining is for wimps.

Well done to you for being assertive and taking action but now your just complaining about it and to be quite frank other peoples complaints are just boring to hear about.

I guess you're allowed to have an opinion. I myself find them very interesting to hear about. :D

Because the OP is one of those "funny" guys that think it is bad to the core to come on these forums and take a super-duper obvious, yet ambiguous, dig at OcUK - on their own forums(!!!!!).

I imagine he probably frequents a forum beginning with an "H" a lot.

P.S. The-void, how many times have you edited that post - I'm seeing the third different version at the moment! ;)

this is general advice only.

It's just that sometimes when I've mentioned I've bought things off ebay, they look at me like I've been playing russian roulette. It's this kind of person that will tell you that they'd rather buy from a proper company. All I'm saying is that you should check these out too.

I'm not having ago at ocuk as I've never bought anything. They're probably very good.
