Next week I am going to start a new adventure into water cooling, I have decided to take it easy for now and have ordered a Zalman Reserator 1 but I want to get the best blocks for my hardware as I plan on upgrading to the Reserator XT in due course.

I am planning on buying an EK Supreme (Cleartop) to cool my Q6600.

Are there any better for this processor or is this a good choice?

apogee gtz is suppose to be the best, most expensive anyways but is still very new.

i have a D-tek Fuzion v2 and that was suppose to be the best before the GTZ come out, and am very happy with it.

tbh most high rated CPU blocks benefit most from higher presure pumps, i don't know much about the reserator 1 so can't really say weither u benifit from changing the bock.

You should be looking at a custom kit after the life span of your Zalman Reserator 1 and don't bother with the Reserator XT, as it will be cheaper and generally cools better. the R1 will be a good starter kit for learning.

Yeah exactly, i'm not going to be getting anywhere over 3.4 really with a reserator but i have read that the supplied cpu block is a liability as it just doesn't cope with OC'd intels because of its size.

Thanks for the advice.
