advice ?

ok ...

I bought a logitech g9 mouse of from dixons last week and it arrived last night at about 7 pm by DHL. i unpacked it then pluged it into my computer installed the sofware ect.. then i noticed that the right mouse button was not working, it was sticking down and not comming back up witout me pulling it up with my finger so i decided i will return it and get a replacement/refund. I phoned dixons this morning at about 9Am and they sayed they were busy and put me on hold for about 5-10 minutes and then the person on the phone put me through to customer support, had to wait another 5 minutes before i talked to someone.I told them what was wrong with the mouse and that i wanted a refund, they said ok we will send someone round this morning to pick it up...

Waited till half 2 and decided to phone again to see why it had not been picked up. phoned them up and 15 minutes later i finilay got through to customer support and they didnt know who i was!! i explaned the problem again and he asked what make is the mouse, i said logitech and he went ooh and told me that somone will pick up the mouse and gave me a number for logitech customer services and then i explaned the problem to them and told them it was a g9 and she put me on hold for 2 minutes nd then came back saying they do not supply that mouse anymore and offerd to send me a g9x i took the offer and she sayed that it will be 7 working days before i get it and gave me a reference number and another number (dont know what it is maby another reference number?).

So what happens now ? how do i check if logitech are sending this out to me or will they forget (like ******?) and still no one has came to pick up the mouse.
 
Is it safe to post the ref number?, cant you direct me to a site that i will have to enter the number ?
 
I would just wait the 7 days, hold on to your ref number, if it doesnt arrive call them, logitech have been praised all over the internet for their customer service. You will proberbly have to send the G9 back but a G9 for a G9x good deal.
 
Yeah, I too would wait. As above, Logitech's CS is excellent and it's doubtful that they will just forget you.
 
i cant cus i use the systems at work :/
you can pm me the reference number or you can leave it :D im sure your mouse will arrive very soon though!
