Advice?

i have 2 GB of 800mhz ballistix memory and the only two programs i am running is Mozilla and i tunes and the windows task manager says i am using 60 % of this memory can this be right???

This is super/prefetch. Don't worry about it. Windows will manage your memory for you.

It loads commonly used applications into RAM for when you need them. If you do not use them it automagically frees up the ram for the use of the programs that need them.

Why have all that ram if its going sit unused!

Normal. Windows will assign more RAM to system processes if you have it free to increase performance. If you need the RAM for other stuff Windows will hand it over.

If you have 6 GB, you'll generally have about 2 GB used by the time you have a browser open.

Mozilla is using 86,104 k and it has crashed on me a good few times this never happened before just soon as i updated to the new one a while back.

^^ I had mozilla crash few times, stopped for now, Have 6GB of ram, so it's nothing to do with Ram GB, 2GB is completely fine, I run 2GB (cheapo Ram) on media Pc, watching movies/browsing... It's enough for what you are doing.
