here's my dilemma, first understand i know little to nothing about OCing, but like the performance gains. SO i bought an overclocked bundle (i7 @ max with 6gb etc.)

And now i have a need to run some VM's on the machine so would ideally like a heap load of memory in there (briefly saw a 24gb kit that looked delicious) but i dont want to lose the overclocking the lovely people at OCUK did for me.

So that's where im stuck - would like to change the memory but dont want to hurt all the settings that were pre-configured

yeah i would like to keep the overclock but would like hte memory, perhaps a 12gb kit instead would be better suited?

i see. irregardless of GB its the physical number of sticks
