I would leave it another a week and then contact eBay/Paypal. As far as I know if you only leave it a week and contact them, they'll just say give it another week (Or maybe sometimes a month?).

Certainly sounds like he's taking your money and making a run for it though :(

remind him that you haven't had the tracking details via an email message if you can, or at least keep a record of the e-mail being sent. If he doesn't reply with it simply contact ebay and report it as item not received.

So would i still get my money back if his dodgey?

Candy, i dont use ebay really, so wasn't to sure what i do. i'll look out for the not recived button. thanks for that.

Cheers guys :)

I've never had to go down this route with ebay, but I have friends who have. They all seemed to get their money back in the end. As long as you keep a log of all emails etc then you should be fine.

As long as you paid via paypal - a case will be raised and they will have to provide paypal with the tracking number. Basically if they cannot prove that it got delivered with your signature on the slip paypal will just take the money back out of their account and refund you.

Here's some advice: learn what brought means.

Even if the seller sends it recorded, it's not sufficient proof that the buyer has received it so in the case of any issues ebay usually sides with the buyer. So I only send stuff recorded if it's under £45.

Then you have the problem that for some items you sell on ebay they only allow you a certain amount for postage.

In this instance, ebay may allow the seller some grace period to allow for postal issues but you should at least now log a case with ebay.

Thats all right, I am never in the mood to read posts that appear to be written by an ADHD suffering 5 year old who has just been given a bag of haribo.

You will get your money back and it will all be ok. You just have to be a bit patient with these things.
