Advice...

Just ordered a 780gtx (zotac amp) and I'm now looking to upgrade my monitor. Currently got a 22" samsung 1050p so quite outdated now.

Where do I go from here? 24-27", not sure if 3d gaming is any good, not sure if I should go 1080 and 120hz or what I initially thought of doing and going 1200 or even 1440.

Budget is somewhere between £200-350, but that's not set in stone either.

Really need to nail a few things down so I can start looking properly. Main priority is gaming.

I've read the thread on here, first I've ever heard of them and the panel, also read a review, not really sold on it tbh. £400+ for a 1080p feels wrong.

Yarwood: borderlands, the Witcher, fallouts, Skyrim, batmans, plus other games like that. (Bit of sim city, mass effect, guild wars 2)

Not a cod or bf3/4 player, just doesn't do it for me.

I have this one set on 144hz and love it its great on batman and bf3/4 im sure will be awesome on most other games to and I aslo have a 780

What's the 3D like? Is it an after thought or worth keeping on? Does every game just convert without much fuss?

yeah I know £400+ is a lot but when u think about it everyone pays loads for a gpu then pair it with a rubbish monitor just makes me laugh

if you want to run pc games at 120hz this is the monitor to get at the moment

I havent used the 3d sorry but normal use it aswome my friend was so impressed he bought one when i build his comp

It's tempted, and for a 1080p a front runner at that price so thanks.

Still can't get my head round that refresh is preference over resolution. It must be something that you have to see. :confused:

It's just too much for me twice the price of the Benny, I can't justify that no matter how good it is.
