Hi everyone,
I've had my GeForce 9800GT graphics card for ages now, or it feels like it. Since about this time last year the graphics card stopped working correctly, except for the one game I did play, so I have not bothered that much with getting a new one.
What's wrong with the card I have no idea, but at any other game than the one I play it goes about 10-15 seconds from me starting the game until the screen starts looking like a ripped English flag and you can with imagination fill in the "blanks" of the scenery behind it, for about a second until that freezes too and the computer has to be forcefully rebooted (cable pull out).
Long story short, I am getting myself a new graphics card and I want one that won't bust my wallet and still give me plenty of juice! (I like realistic shadow effects and particles glaring).
Win7 Performance indicator 5.9
CPU: Intel Core Quad Q6700 @ 2.66GHz
RAM: 4.00GB
And I am way to lazy to unscrew the lid to see what the motherboard is, but it must be some decent crap
