Advise needed TV size

I have a viewing distance of just under 3m or 9 1/2 feet, I have looked at many charts on the web and it falls into the55/65 inch margin mainly 1080 content but also normal Freeview tv sd channels. I have looked in my local purple shirt shop [not getting it from there] and its hard to judge in a shop.
Any help deciding would be appreciated.
Also what this section of the forum needs is a hot deals section if the powers that be allow, good idea or not?

65. If you buy a 55 you'll always wish you bought a 65.

If you have a corner sofa and the tv is going above the fireplace then its got to be an 80inch.

Then sit back tighten up the gucci belt and enjoy.

unfortunately the only retailer left alive local to me is the purples, then there is a richer sounds a few miles away.
the sofa position is straight on, 65 would be the max I would go. May well book an appointment at richers net week.
I notice the 55 q90t samsung is available as I type this for £1100 at another online store
