Advise on Laptop to buy please

I'm after a laptop for various functions. It will be used for general surfing, office type work some VB work for college course and some web page design. I'd also like to be able to play Guild Wars (online RPG) if poss.

I'll have about £500-600 to spend.

Any suggestions welcomed.

Although the graphics chip is not exactly the best the Dell Inspiron 630m for £616 is a good price imo.

Second hand you can get an HP NC6000 or NC8000 with an SXGA+ screen on EBay complete with a couple of years collect and return warranty and the build quality of a corporate workhorse laptop. Having said that, I've no idea what the graphics requirements are for that game though.

just got a acer Aspire 3020 a very nice laptop has a x700 GFX in it plays hl2 perfect good for games and working.

Requirement specs for guildwars are:

Intel 1Ghz or equivalent, 512Mb RAM, ATI 9000 or GeForce 4 Ti series or better with 64Mb VRAM.
