Hi All,

Looking for some advise on whether my i5 2500k will hold me back if I get another 780? Or should I see if I can get a 2600k?
 
It will hold it back yes, how much depends on game, grabbing a 2600/2700k or if you're on z68/z77 a 3770k would be a wise idea with a pair of 780's :)
 
I am on a P67 mobo mate, Asus P8P67 Pro. So if i want to sli I should see if i can get an i7 then?
 
Will depend on the games you play. Ones of note that I've personally found to benefit from an i7 with sli are, bf3/4 and crysis 3.
