Ok i have a budget of around £1400 to buy a new pc . Do not need Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor they are all still within spitting distance the top of the range . I need something ( self build) that will last around 3-4 years , and still manage to play the decent top level games .

Looked at your pre-built units , but wondered if i bought separate , and built would i / could i get better value for my hard earned cash ? .Must run on Windows 7 64 bit O/S .

Any help / advise greatly received

Could do with a water cooled system to be honest at least the chip, and a 1000 watt power supply .

Monitor is a 33 inch led tv .

Have overheating issues cause pc will be close to a radiator within the home ( wife uses as well has arthritis needs heating on constantly ). Was advised that 1000 watts will run the whole decent rig far better than 750 ?

1000W is totally over the top and not needed unless you're going for tri-SLI

Watercooling is awesome and everything but you'll end up spending £200-£300 on one when you could just spend that on faster components in the first place

Running 750 Watts rather than 1000 Watts makes no difference to performance (in that system anyway).

When you say close to the radiator, how close is close?

PSU is determined by what the rest of the system is and its use.

Unless you can maintain a custom watercooling loop, i suggest you avoid it. All in one coolers will not show advantages over air coolers, as your problem is not the PC being too hot, its ambient temperature being too hot for your PC.

A good air cooler will still deal with the issue though.

750w is ample for that system and should be able to handle a 2nd card.

The Motherboard comes with a free cooler which is a all in water cooler, even a air cooled one would be fine.
