Adwords - Is this allowed?

Although it probably isn't can a company use a competitors name as a keyword in an adwords campaign? E.g. Say my company is Company A and a competitors company is Company B.

Can have 'company B' in my keywords? Seems a bit dodgey to me, but just thoiught I'd check

Happens to a business Im associated with all the time sadly. Never thought of it being illegal, more of a compliment, albliet a frustrating one at times, that they need to use my business name.

I think you can use it in your Adwords campaign, so long as you don't attempt to pass off as the other company - e.g. if you try to mislead people that you are the actual company they were searching for in your ad text.
