Why would you need to set it to anything?
There is a crossover in the speakers that sorts out which frequencies go to the satellites and what goes to the subwoofer.
The only time I can think of where this might be useful, is if you are using separate speakers and subwoofer which has no crossover setting of it's own, connected independently to the sound card.
