The Aego M 2.1 has a center port what is this used for?, also it comes with a cable which im unfimiliar with, it has at one end, red, white (with the metal bit showing), with that is a black attachment forgot the name and at the over end is a red/white attachment.

This is funny cos my mate called me a week ago to ask me exactly the same questions!! You got yourself some beautiful speakers btw, the Aego 2.1 is fantastic.

(1) Optional centre speaker you can buy separately so ignore the middle ports.
(2) The cables with the metal bits connect your satellites to the bass unit. Connect the end with the connector into your satellite speaker. For the other end (on the bass unit) for each speaker connection, you need to flick the switches at the top and bottom up and down which will result in two holes. Insert the metal ends fully into the holes and flick em closed.

Once you work out the switches go up and down should be pretty self explanatory.

what do you mean optional centre speaker and heres a pic of the extra cable:

You can buy an optional centre speaker for those speakers and as already stated the cable is for that. you can buy the centre speaker directly from them for about £36.

Contact details are here, you can ring them and get it pretty swiftly.

Not sure about using the centre for another sub, but they will know. The centre is a midrange speaker connection not a sub. Their support is good though so you should have no problems.

The Aego M 2.1's are the best Stereo speakers i have ever come accross!
For my little study, they just boom.
Never tried the centre speaker option tho, might have to look into that myself.
