AEGO M - Quality Sucks!

Firstly i am not talking of the sound quality here that is fantastic, its the build quality / quality control that sucks.

Eagerly opened my black set on christmas day to find both speakers had paint chipped i a total of 6 places and were not just talking small chips either big obvious ones. Funny thing is both speakers are chipped in exactly the same place which points to it being a manufacturing fault.

To make matters worse one of the speakers is badly dented (thats good ole aluminium for you) yet the box was sealed and there was no signs of damage to the box.

Still the sound makes up for it!

Sounds like you got a used product - its been repackaged up by shop... send them back and get new set!

Just as a heads up ............ they were definately not used re-sold as new.

I have today received an email from the technical support section of Acoustic Solutions stating there is a known quality problem with a number of batches of these speakers where the far east manufacturer was not up to spec.

Unfortunately they all made it into the marketplace.

I have been offered a full refund or replacement.
