Aego M volume issues.

Hi,

I had a set of Aego M's for Chrismtmas an they were great. However the volume dial is now abit dodgy. When I turn them on they are at almost half volume (I assume about that as nothing much happens until I get to about half volume when I turn them up).

I've emailed acoustic energy about this, does anybody have any experience and comments on thier customer service?

Other than that the speakers are great, sound quality is so much better than anything i've had before, just to loud for everyday use with the volume dial fault.

if your using them for pc use .... just adjust the volume on the speaker icon in taskbar

ive got my old pair sitting upstairs ...but at half voulme it should be loud if i rememeebr correctly

Unfortunatly im not using them with pc, I use them with a blu-ray player and sometimes just to listen to music of my phone.

with the phone ......you can just lower the phone volume .......as for Br ... not sure how to fix it .. liek i said from my experience the aego m go loud pretty quick on the dial

My brother had issues with a noisy volume control, he bought a very cheap inline volume..

Just google something like "inline volume cable 3.5mm" (Don't want to link to competitors!)..

But obviously it's faulty, so a repair is the long term answer!

Thanks for the advise, gonna have to go down return and repair route its not useable with the blu-ray player, just to loud when accounting for neighbours and stuff.
