what is the max wattage on the aego m and how loud can it go (ie *** decible)? Also, what is the max wattage for the jbl creature?

Hi there,

I've tried looking at Acoustic Energy's website and the Aego manual but I couldn't find the power quoted.

All I could find was a value of 80w in a What Hi-Fi group test. No decibel value was given though.

Too loud! If you turn it up to max then its just going to distort and make some naty noises! Its not all about wattage and dB you know. Sometimes its the sound that it produces that actually matters.

In short, I have no idea.

I have no idea, but even if I did know the answer, would you know what that particular sound level meant and how loud it was? Probably not, wattage and DBs mean little in the world of hi-fi.

The Aego Ms are meant to be very good and I've not heard any complaints that they're too quiet.
