How guys

Got a media centre with two tuner cards and i am splitting the aerial using a standard aerial splitter from ******.

It seems that one of the tuner cards is happy but the image on the other tuner card is breaking up. Seems like the signal is deterating cause its being split.

Anyone know of a loss-less spliter i can get?

Going to do some more testing and try to work it out further, any suggestions?

Does the splitter you're using look like this:

Unless you get an amplifier to distribute the signal, you're not going to get a 'lossless splitter'. It's a passive device, it supplies two ouputs from one input. Stands to reason it's going to knock 3dB off the signal.

I actually use a splitter, and it works fine. You say one TV card works fine, so it would be a bit odd that the other doesn't. Have you swapped the connections round and see if the TV Card with the bad signal changes or not?

Can you connect your aerial feed directly to each tuner card to ensure they are both working correctly?

If so, what results do you get?

I imagine the splitter is the problem causing an impedance mis match.
