Has anyone changed there to gain more, if so how good was it?

Yeah I have a high gain antenna, seems to get me that extra gain and break though walls better. Not "Amazing increase" though. I still have to use another router/access point in the upper level of the house (my main router is downstairs at the back of the house) but that maybe because my main router is situated in a room which has thick walls.

Ditto - I used to have a Linksys WRT54G and I bought the hi-gain aerials.
