Aero DS SLi?

Hi all,

contemplating going from ATX to mATX. My preferred case is the Aerocool Dead silence. At the moment I have:

i5 2500k
2x4GB Patriot Black Mamba 1600Mhz
Corsair H100
Reference Gtx 680
ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Gen 3.

In terms of new kit I'm thinking of:

Aerocool DS
ASRock Z77 Extreme4-m

a second 680 if/when I find one at the right price.

Does anyone have any experience in running SLi in the case?

I think the case only has 4 PCI slots so you need to be wary with coolers and PCI slot layout.

Looking at that board, it should be fine. GPU1 will run hot.

I have this case and tried running 2x Asus GTX 780s in SLI.

GPU1 was reaching high 80s and creeping in the 90s so had to do away with SLI.

Didn't feel comfortable with the temps and noise.

If you have enough airflow, you should be fine. Are your 680's reference?

I currently have one reference 680. Really considering going SFF now. Will have a more serious look at LAN I think.

The ref cards are blowers, you should be fine with SFF!
