Aero Issue

I have aero applied in vista 64, and its fine on the desktop, ie the task bar at the bottom is semi transparent. However, when i load up a window, say firefox, the bar goes black and opaque.....

How can I keep the bar transparent at all times?

Why would you want to see what's underneath when you are working with a maximised application?

Same reason I want it to be transparent on the desktop :confused:

Dont need it, just why have it transparent when you're on the desktop (which I never am) and not with a window open? Makes no sense

Because its really annoying having a brightly coloured/vibrant background, if the top bar is transparent when maximised (I'm looking at you Leopard!)

I've done it using Vistaglazz, not sure if I like it though.

You can get fully transparent if you use custom themes as well.

im using vista glazz, and a fully transparent theme its called vista media center cant remember where i got it from

i like having a transparent title bar and task bar with a window maximised my start menu is glass like too no frosting

perox that is what I want - im pretty sure it used to do that, though I think that may have been the beta.

Do you play games? Won't this screw full screen apps/games up royally? I thought thats why aero auto disables upon full-screen apps?
