Aero Not working

Got a laptop, windows 7 aero isn't working. Desktop window manager is enabled, the laptop has high enough graphics to run aero, yet its not running. I'm running the correct theme, and am out of ideas how to get it running.

Any ideas on how to fix it, i'd rather not reinstall, though I think that it could be needed, as WINSAT isn't working either.

Have you ran the WEI thing? It doesn't work until you've done that I'm sure.

It isn't running Windows 7 Basic is it?

Nope, Its running windows 7 Pro 32bit. Tried running the WEI thing and it crashes on Windows Media Tuning or something like that.

Has your computer recently updated to SP1? If so you may need to login as admin to complete the setup before Aero will work. Not sure why this happens but I've seen it a fair few times now

Hmm, just happened to uninstal the drivers from the Fujitsu site, and aero started working again. I'd read about the sp1 problem, and tried that. Thanks.

Still haven't worked out while winsat isn't working..

Might be worth running sfc /scannow perhaps?
