Aero on a FX5200

I've recently upgraded to Vista and am running Aero on an FX5200 128MB.

It's struggles a bit, and quite frequently Vista Windows Manager crashes. I've opened the case the the graphics card is very hot (which only has passive cooling).

Should I upgrade the graphics card or is the issue due to something else?

Have you installed the Vista Nvidia Drivers? When you say Vista Crashes, how?

im running a fx5200 128 atm as my gfx card is on rma and they overheat like hell i cant wait to rid it of my system for good

The 5*** series were simply total junk. Far too hot for far too low performance. Get yourself a good bargain on a secondhand X800/x850 or 6800gt on ebay. There are some rally good deals even on new x850xt's at the moment!
