I’ve just received the above item and for the money it’s a nice compact case, my only question is regarding the fans.

They don’t have your typical fan connections.

It I have lead that can convert them into the modular psu I have but what then controls the fan speed ? Will they be on full 100% ? Or will the system know that they are connected ?

Thanks in advance

I downloaded the manual, but it isn't clear what connectors you have.

Can you take a picture of one of the fan cables? I assume you're not supposed to connect them together with a loom that was included with the case?

If you use a molex from the PSU, then a fan will usually just run at full pelt, yes. You can buy resistors (I have a few in a bag), but they're not common nowadays because everyone uses pwm connected to the motherboard.

Yeah, those look like molex, very unusual to find them in a modern PC unless they're powering a fan controller or a card reader.

Yeah those were connected to the fans on that case I just purchased from OC. I’ve never seen them on a fan before.

The case was cheap so can’t complain really just a little frustrating having to remove everything out of the case to install some fans I pulled out of another PC to then reinstall all the components, but this is PC building I don’t think you ever get a straight forward build

Ideally you would have had a connector that converts these to the new style fan connections (3pin) that have been the norm for years.

Thanks for time and help with this sir

that is waht you get in cheaper cases.. just a molex.
you probably can't converyt them to anything as these seem to be just controlled by voltage. You could probably adapt them to a 3pin plug withouth having rpm sense wire but i think you would be better off buying a some cheap "proper" fans
