just had an Aerocool case delivered for a build for my son,

suffice to say i'm wondering if im spoiled with the quality from LianLi and NZXT in comparison to the budget end of the market.

Outer packaging is pristine so no damage in transit and to be fair this does look like a mix of poor quality at manufacture and shoddy QC

damaged finish round the screw holes

panel fit is well interesting

bottom

top

other side

colour match is well non existant as is the fit, I could swear they've fitted the wrong side panels

in fairness other than the above the rest of the case is quite decent, lots of little features I like and a good accessory bundle.

has anyone else experienced this with Aerocool or is this just a one off or am I being too fussy for £55 ?

I could understand if the box arrived looking like it had been kicked to death.

but the outer packaging is pristine I can only assume it left the factory in that state.

have raised the issue with CS so waiting to hear what they say if this is par for the course or mines is just a lemon

thats a shocker!
no conciliation i know, but i have had 2 aerocool cases and both have been bang on quality wise, i have had more issues with corsair cases
i would get it returned!!

I was amazingly cheesed off when I bought a gloss top table, opened the packaging and under all the foam padding there was a large chip taken right out of the middle of it...

You can only assume there's utterly rubbish quality control when the factory lets obviously damaged goods out the door.

To be fair the company I bought it from was fine with replacing it, accepting that it was damaged before it even got to me.

Well I dont think rjk and others would be happy with the cs response you got m8 they pride themselves on cs, I would suggest contact rjk or bailey directly m8.

Well I've asked Bailey if I can RMA it for a slightly less bent one so let's see what happens

You could quite easily bend the chassis back into square. Not that you should have to, but its what I would do.

That case is a total abortion, aside from all the damage the shoddy fit and paint matching alone would have me sending that back, cheap or not.

It's either not new or a rogue case that got through QC.
