Ideas and opinions.

Hmm Your sig says you have an Arctic Freezer 64 Pro

I actually pulled the stock fan off my freezer and strapped on a Panaflo NMB-MAT 120mm That pushed 116cfm :) Didnt make much difference though :(

no ones cases will fit a 14cm fan unless its modded

Rubbish

Edit: Just measured and it would *just* about fit in the front of my PC-007, my super lanboys side panel (some cases already have 120mm mounts in the side) and theres a review showing it installed to a case with no mods

Taken, yes I have a freezer 64 currently fitted to my rig, but I also have a Scythe Ninja sitting on my desk awaiting fitment. :)

hmmm, tempted to get one for my radiator :)

You wont be dissapointed. I bought 2 to put on my rad in my not yet complete radbox.
I have fired them up a few times and at full speed I think the claims of 20db are a bit optimistic but at 7v they rule.

At 20mm thick they will produce very little static pressure, so wont be much use on radiators/radboxes...

Should be good for open case airflow (ie little/no restrictions).

I thought low resistance rads benefitted from airflow and more restictive rads needed fans with more pressure?

True to a point, PA series fans are very low restriction so you may be able to use these successfully on them... The HE series, most heatercores and most other rads need good static pressure...

BUT you will always need some static pressure to overcome the resistance of the rad, just some need less than others...

Will be interested in how you get on with them :)

Just got my arse into gear and swapped the Ninja in, idle has dropped 3deg and load has dropped 4. Biggest difference has come from putting the vf900 on my GPU, dropped over 25deg off load temp!!
