Just installed a Aerocool Touch Screen Fan Controller V12XT and for soem reason i cant turn down fan 4 it just goes back to maximum speed

i click unlock then i click the RPM it blinks i then press - sign down to around 900 and then i tap the RPM again and its suppose to save but its not :(

just recieved this from OClockers today :9 really dont want to have to RMA it lol

could i be doing soemthing wrong?
 
just tried fan 4 in fan 3 and it works so the fans are ok it must be just the fan 4 cable or soemthing?
