After a bridge camera, looking at the Panasonic G3

Pros and cons if you dont mind, anything else I should consider?

I know it is more of a compact but , you know what I mean. I hope!

Mrs cant get on with the canon 600 i have, in fact she hates it. I know the G3 is better than most bridge cameras [in the right hands] but, swapping lenses might put me back in the same situation.

Just want something that she can use but, also be handy for me i guess.
