After a Macro Lens

Okay, i am after a Macro lens.

Budget is massively important (Baby on the way).

So, what's good, but cheap? Using +4 filters on the end of a 75-300 is just tooo fiddly. Would prefer a UK warranty, but not essential.

I shoot on a D60 and 35mm EOS1 (depending on final print size), and am looking to shoot both wildlife and Sudio stuff (mainly Jewelery) for Clients (I keep getting asked, so figure the market is there)

What sort of budget you talking about? the options I suggest you look at are;

Canon 60mm
Tamron 90mm
Canon 100mm
Sigma 105mm
Sigma 150mm

I personally use a Sigma 150mm, which I love. Its a really versatile prime lens which ive used with great success for Wildlife, portraits, macro and flight shows.

tamron 90mm is your best bang for buck tbh, and quite highly regarded too.

Tamron 90mm if you're on a tight budget, otherwise Canon 100mm.

Sigma 105 is very good. I have one.
