My phone contract is about to end, and as per usual at the end of a contract im being phoned every 2-3 hours by some stupid number that won't **** off and leave me alone......so....

As i already have a phone im quite happy to use for the forseable future im after a SIM only contract, i noticed "3" have two £5 a month ones which have free texts but no free minutes, im probably clutching at straws here but are there any £5 a month contracts in existence that have a really low free minutes + texts? or am i destined to have to pay the extortionate cost of £10 a month? (:p)

Avoiding orange due to coverage where i live, but any recommendations on which contract to go for would be appreciated - i could quite happily make do with 100 free texts and 100 free minutes a month :)

EDIT: oh yes and i notice some companies do short contracts, im after one that ideally is only 6months long

Try looking at some of the payg offers available.

I know that o2 give you free web and 300 text to use over the course of a month for a £10 top up, then once that month is up you still have your credit to use. so Maybe they do one for text and minutes.

Not a great fan of PAYG really, i'd prefer to have a contract and then just let it run without the hassle of topping it up and fussing about credit. Lazy i know but i hate phones as it is :p
